The proposed project sits directly next to a chemical plant that handles dangerous chemicals every day. This plant was intentionally placed far from urban development to avoid the possibility of people being exposed to chemicals known to cause birth defects, lung diseases and even death. The increased traffic to and from the site will also create more pollution from vehicle exhaust and diesel fueled tractor-trailers - polluting our farmland and our lungs.
