“The Board of Supervisors needs to stop wasting taxpayer money and reject this project once and for all.”
In 2020, the voters of San Benito County rejected Strada Verde at the ballot box in a landslide. Almost 60% of voters in the county came together to stop this dangerous project, but out-of-town developers -- Newport Pacific Land, Chenco Holding and Floriani Development -- are still pushing the project. The Board of Supervisors wants to ignore voters and push the project through without our consent. We can’t let them waste more taxpayer money and ignore what our county really needs.
